Domestic aluminum billet inventory: aluminum billet inventory in Guangdong stood at 157,500 mt, while Wuxi's aluminum billet inventory was 72,700 mt, with a total decrease of 3,500 mt. SHFE aluminum prices plunged again today due to external news, and aluminum prices continued to retreat. Processing fees for aluminum billets rose significantly. Although downstream sentiment remained bearish, leading to limited acceptance, restocking demand amid the slight stabilization of futures prices rebounded, and transaction performance improved compared to yesterday.

SMM February 25 News:

On February 25, SMM A00 aluminum was quoted at 20,390 yuan/mt, down 200 yuan, with a discount of 50 yuan to the March contract, up 20 yuan. On the same day, SMM A00 aluminum (Foshan) was quoted at 20,380 yuan/mt, down 200 yuan, with a discount of 55 yuan to the current month, narrowing by 20 yuan. (Unit: yuan/mt)

Regarding domestic aluminum billet inventory, aluminum billet inventory in Guangdong stood at 157,500 mt, Wuxi at 72,700 mt, with a total decrease of 3,500 mt. Today, SHFE aluminum plunged again due to external news, and aluminum prices continued to retreat. Aluminum billet processing fees showed a concentrated increase. Although downstream sentiment remained bearish, leading to limited acceptance, restocking demand rebounded slightly as futures prices stabilized during the session, and trading improved compared to yesterday.Today, aluminum billet processing fees in the Foshan market were quoted at 240–290 yuan/mt, up 90 yuan; Wuxi market processing fees were quoted at 220–270 yuan/mt, up 40–50 yuan; Nanchang region processing fees were quoted at 250–300 yuan/mt, up 50 yuan.
